A 10-member gang, including Indian-origin men, has been convicted of smuggling drugs using frozen chicken consignments. The gang was busted by West Midlands Police, who seized 400kg of cocaine and £1.6 million in cash. Maninder Dosanjh and Amandeep Rishi were sentenced to 16 years and 11 years in prison, respectively. Five-year-old Teghbir Singh from Punjab has become the youngest Asian to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. He began his journey on August 18 and reached the summit on August 23.
