Airports in Jaipur, Kanpur, and Goa faced bomb threats via email, prompting heightened security measures. Authorities suspect the emails are hoaxes and are working to trace the sender. Goa's Dabolim airport received the threat via their official email, leading to a search operation by police and bomb squad. Despite efforts to evade capture, Khan's cross-country odyssey came to an end with his arrest in Chhattisgarh's Aradhya International Hotel.

In a fresh bout of violence, one person was killed and three others injured in a gunfight between armed groups in Manipur's Kangpokpi district. The deceased, identified as Lammang Kipgen, a Kuki 'village volunteer', was attacked by armed miscreants in Leimakhong. Accusations point towards Meiteis armed miscreants, prompting a 12-hour shutdown called by the Committee on Tribal Unity (COTU). The injured's identities remain undisclosed. This incident follows the killing of two CRPF personnel and injuring of two others in a separate attack in Bishnupur district. Ethnic clashes between Meiteis and Kuki-Zo tribals have plagued Manipur, claiming lives and displacing thousands.

In Manipur, a fresh outbreak of violence ensued as armed clashes broke out between village volunteers of the Meitei and Kuki communities. The exchange of fire initiated when armed men indiscriminately fired upon Koutruk village from adjoining hills in Kangpokpi district. Locally-made mortar shells were reportedly used in the confrontation. Security forces are deployed to quell the situation, as children, women, and seniors are evacuated to safety. This incident follows a series of violent clashes since the onset of the ethnic conflict, further exacerbating the longstanding tensions between the communities.            

Deputy Inspector General Khajan Singh, a former chief sports officer of CRPF, is facing dismissal over sexual harassment charges filed by women personnel. Tiruchirappalli airport's Air Intelligence Unit struck gold again, seizing 977 grams of 24-carat gold worth ₹70.58 lakh from a passenger arriving from Dubai. The gold was cleverly concealed in three packets of paste-like material tucked inside the passenger's rectum. The individual, traveling on Air India Express, has been apprehended as investigations unfold. This follows a similar incident in March, where 410 grams of gold valued at ₹26.62 lakh were confiscated from a passenger arriving from Singapore. In that case, 330 grams were extracted from paste, while 80 grams were hidden in the passenger's vest.
