The individual, traveling on Air India Express, has been apprehended as investigations unfold. This follows a similar incident in March, where 410 grams of gold valued at ₹26.62 lakh were confiscated from a passenger arriving from Singapore. In that case, 330 grams were extracted from paste, while 80 grams were hidden in the passenger's vest.
