In an email statement to ANI, Scotland Police has responded to the incident where Indian High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami was blocked from entering a Glasgow gurudwara. Police said they received a disturbance report around 1:05 pm on Friday in the Albert Drive area. While no injuries were reported, an inquiry is underway to establish the full circumstances. This comes after India's High Commission in London termed it a "disgraceful incident" involving outside elements deliberately disrupting a planned event. The HC and Consul General left to prevent any altercation. India reported the matter to UK authorities and police.
