A security review at BrahMos Aerospace HQ in Delhi uncovered unaccounted weapons, including a rocket launcher, an INSAS light machine gun, and high-explosive mortar rounds. The probe began in late 2021 after suspicions arose about former CEO Dr. Sudhir Mishra removing confidential documents. Weapons were found in stores linked to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and near the reception. CCTV footage was manipulated. BrahMos reported the findings to DRDO, which sent the items to Armament Research and Development Establishment (ARDE) in Pune.
