Operation Bluestar Anniversary: SFJ Demands 'Lockdown' of India's Canada Missions

As the 40th anniversary of Operation Bluestar approaches, Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) has called for a "lockdown" of Indian missions in Canada on June 6. The group's general counsel, Gurpatwant Pannun, has urged protesters to surround India's High Commission in Ottawa and Consulates in Vancouver and Toronto. This comes after Canadian PM Justin Trudeau acknowledged "credible allegations" of Indian agents' involvement in the killing of SFJ's Hardeep Singh Nijjar in British Columbia last year. Four Indian nationals have been arrested in connection with the murder. The NDP has also pledged to seek recognition of the "Sikh genocide" in November.
