In a significant relief to airlines, hotels, and restaurants, jet fuel and commercial LPG prices have been reduced due to declining global oil prices. ATF price was cut by 6.5% to Rs 94,969.01 per kilolitre, while commercial LPG rate was reduced by Rs 69 to Rs 1,676 per 19-kg cylinder. This is the third consecutive monthly reduction in commercial LPG prices. However, domestic cooking gas prices remain unchanged at Rs 803 per 14.2-kg cylinder. The price drop is expected to benefit airlines, hospitality, and food industries, which have been struggling with high fuel costs.
