HAL shares are in the spotlight as India and France start talks for a ₹50,000-crore deal for 26 Rafale Marine fighter jets. The jets will be used on the Indian Navy's carriers, INS Vikrant and INS Vikramaditya. A high-level French team, including Dassault and Thales officials, will meet Indian Defence Ministry representatives on May 30. The negotiations aim to finalize the deal by the end of the financial year. HAL shares closed down 2.53% at ₹5,012 on Tuesday. The Indian Navy seeks quick completion and induction of these aircraft into its fleet.
