The Maharashtra Congress, led by Nana Patole, has called for a CBI investigation into the Porsche crash in Pune that killed two techies. Alleging involvement of an MLA's son, Patole accused Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis of using his influence to cover up the incident and demanded his resignation. The crash, caused by a 17-year-old driving under the influence, sparked outrage after initial bail was granted but later overturned. Patole further alleged that political interference is protecting wealthy offenders and highlighted the rise in drug-related incidents and illegal activities in Maharashtra.
