Pune Crash: Doctor Allegedly Paid Rs 3 Lakh to Alter Teen's Blood Samples

Amidst the Pune Porsche crash investigation, one of the arrested doctors allegedly accepted Rs 3 lakh to change the blood samples of the teen driver. Atul Ghatkamble, a Sassoon General Hospital staffer, purportedly bribed by Dr Shrihari Halnor, was arrested alongside Dr Ajay Taware. The trio faces charges of evidence tampering. Police recovered Rs 2.5 lakh from Halnor and Rs 50,000 from Ghatkamble. Suspicions arose when initial tests showed no alcohol in the teen's blood, later revealed to be tampered evidence. Maharashtra government forms panel to probe the hospital's involvement.
