Chhattisgarh Police reported that three Maoists were killed in anti-naxal operations in Sukma and Bijapur districts. Weapons and explosives were recovered from both sites. The first incident occurred near Belpochcha village in Sukma, where one Maoist was killed after an exchange of fire. The second encounter took place in Bijapur's forests, resulting in two Maoist deaths. The identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed. These operations are part of ongoing efforts against Maoist activities in the Bastar region. So far this year, 116 Maoists have been killed in similar encounters in Chhattisgarh.
