Two Pune Cops Suspended for Negligence in Porsche Crash Case

Two officials from Yerawada police station, Inspector Rahul Jagdale and Assistant Police Inspector Vishwanath Todkari, suspended for alleged dereliction of duty in the Pune luxury car crash case. The 17-year-old juvenile's Porsche fatally struck two individuals in Kalyani Nagar. Additional Commissioner of Police, Manoj Patil, cited "late reporting" and "dereliction of duty" as reasons for the suspension. Pune Police Commissioner, Amitesh Kumar, acknowledged internal inquiry findings indicating lapses in registering the case. Delays in collecting the juvenile's blood samples and initially registering the offense under a lesser charge were noted concerns.
