Bangladesh MP Allegedly Murdered in Kolkata, Three Arrested

Bangladesh MP Anwarul Azim, reported missing last week, was allegedly murdered in Kolkata. Bangladesh's Home Minister, Asaduzzaman Khan, described it as a "planned murder" involving Bangladeshi perpetrators. Three arrests have been made in connection with the case. Azim arrived in India on May 12 and was last seen on May 13 in Bidhannagar, Kolkata, where he went for a medical check-up with friends. The motive behind the alleged murder is yet to be determined. Indian authorities are cooperating with the investigation, according to the Bangladesh Home Minister.
