A devastating car accident on Westside Parkway, north of Maxwell Road, claimed the lives of three 18-year-old students on Monday. Aryan Joshi, Sriya Avasarala, and Anvi Sharma died in the crash, while two others, Rithwak Somepalli and Mohammed Liyakath, were injured. Speed is believed to be a primary factor in the accident, which occurred when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to flip over and land upside down in a tree line. The victims were students at Alpharetta High School and the University of Georgia. An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the crash.
