Raghunandan Srinivas Kamath, founder of Naturals Ice Cream, passed away on Friday at 70. His last rites were held in Mumbai on Saturday. Born to a mango vendor in Mangaluru, Kamath established Naturals Ice Cream, now worth Rs 400 crore, with a unique approach of using real fruits in ice cream. He started his business with pav-bhaji as the main dish and ice cream as an add-on. Tributes poured in on social media, with many calling him the 'ice cream man of India'. Actress Tara Deshpande remembered learning about the brand's history and appreciating their product even more. Kamath's legacy will be remembered for bringing natural and delicious ice cream to the masses.
