FIIDS, a US-based Indian diaspora organization, criticizes USCIRF for biased reporting on India and Hinduism due to lack of Hindu representation. Khanderao Kand, chief of Policy and Strategy at Foundation for India and Indian Diaspora Studies (FIIDS), highlights the absence of Hindu commissioners, hindering diversity in USCIRF's assessments. He accuses USCIRF reports of lacking transparency and historical context, labeling them predictably anti-India. USCIRF's recent annual report recommends India as a Country of Particular Concern, drawing criticism for its methodology and recommendations.
