China Building Model Village on Land Taken During Nehru's Time: S Jaishankar

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, accused former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru of losing Indian territory to China. Responding to opposition claims about China's construction of a model village near Arunachal Pradesh, Jaishankar said the village is in Longju, an area captured by China in 1959 during Nehru’s tenure.
