A 39-year-old State Reserve Police Force jawan, Prakash Kapde, died by suicide at his home in Jamner town. He was attached to cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's security detail. Kapde shot himself with his service gun during a brief vacation. The incident occurred at 1:30 am on May 15. The police are investigating the cause of suicide, but initial findings suggest personal reasons. Kapde is survived by his parents, wife, two minor children, and other family members.
