Bomb Threats Target Delhi Hospitals and Airport, Prompting Large-Scale Response

Multiple hospitals and the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi faced bomb threats via email, triggering extensive emergency responses. Burari Hospital reported the initial threat, followed by Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital and others. Police deployed bomb squads and fire tenders for thorough searches, with no suspicious items found yet. This incident echoes recent threats in Delhi and Ahmedabad, including over 130 schools receiving similar emails. Authorities, including the Union home ministry, are working to trace the source and have called for enhanced security measures and coordination between police and institutions to prevent panic and ensure public safety.
