Delhi is expected to receive rain this week, bringing relief from the scorching heat. The maximum temperature on Tuesday touched 42 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal. While temperatures remain high, no heatwave warning has been issued. According to the IMD, partly cloudy weather is predicted for Wednesday, with temperatures likely to cross 40 degrees Celsius. However, light drizzling and thunderstorms are expected on May 11 and 12, providing a respite from the heat. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to settle at 41 and 24 degrees Celsius, respectively.
