IMD Issues Fresh Heatwave Warning for 8 States as Temperatures Soar Above 45 Degrees

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a fresh heatwave warning for eight states as temperatures continue to exceed 45 degrees Celsius. The affected regions include Saurashtra & Kutch, Gujarat, Vidarbha, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Interior Karnataka, West Rajasthan, East Rajasthan, and West Madhya Pradesh. With heatwave conditions persisting in various parts of the country, IMD forecasts a new heatwave spell in Western India, covering Gujarat, Rajasthan, and western Madhya Pradesh, over the next five days. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses.
