A suspected crude bomb blast in Hooghly district's Pandua area claimed the life of a 7-year-old boy, Raj Biswas, and left two others, Rupam Ballav (13) and Sourav Chowdhury (8), seriously injured. The incident occurred when a group of children playing near a pond discovered the explosive device in a pit. The injured boys are receiving treatment at Chunchura Imambara Hospital. The Hooghly Rural Police are investigating the incident. The blast has left the community in shock, and authorities are working to determine the cause and perpetrators.
