A 22-year-old Indian student, Navjeet Sandhu, was fatally stabbed in Melbourne, Australia, during a fight between Indian students over a rent issue. According to his uncle, Yashvir, Navjeet was attacked when he tried to intervene in the dispute. The incident occurred on Saturday at 9 pm local time, and another student was also injured. Navjeet, an MTech student, had moved to Australia on a study visa and was due to join his family for vacations in July. His father, a farmer, had sold land to fund his education. The family is in shock and urges the Indian government to help bring his body back to India as soon as possible.
