Terrorists ambushed an Indian Air Force (IAF) convoy in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, injuring at least five officials, with two in critical condition. The attack, near Shashidhar, occurred as the convoy headed towards Sanai Top in Surankote. Close to 30 rounds were fired by the assailants. The Rashtriya Rifles unit initiated cordon and search operations while the vehicles were secured inside the airbase near Shahsitar. Reinforcements from the army and police are conducting extensive operations to locate and neutralize the terrorists responsible for the attack.
