Anuj Thapan, accused of supplying weapons in the firing outside Salman Khan's house, attempted suicide in police custody. Rushed to hospital, he died during treatment. Thapan and accomplice Sonu Subhash Chander were arrested by Mumbai Police on April 25. The firing incident occurred on April 14, with two shooters detained later. Salman Khan was present during the incident. The police have invoked the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against all accused. Investigation continues.
