Anuj Thapan, a suspect in the April 14 shooting outside Salman Khan's home, died by suicide in police custody. Mumbai Police had invoked MCOCA against alleged shooters Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, along with Sonu Kumar Chander Bishnoi and Thapan for supplying firearms. Lawrence Bishnoi and Anmol Bishnoi, wanted accused, are linked to the incident. Gupta and Pal were arrested in Gujarat, while Sonu Bishnoi and Thapan were apprehended in Punjab. Anmol Bishnoi, supposedly in Canada, claimed responsibility on Facebook, traced to Portugal's IP address. Thapan's death adds complexity to the investigation.
