India and Japan are in Discussion About Progress in Areas of Disarmament and Non-Proliferation

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced that the 10th Round of India-Japan Consultations on Disarmament, Non-Proliferation, and Export Control took place in Tokyo. The meeting covered various topics, including disarmament, non-proliferation, outer space security, and export control. Muanpuii Saiawi led the Indian delegation, while Katsuro Kitagawa led the Japanese delegation. Discussions focused on nuclear, chemical, and biological disarmament, as well as conventional weapons. The MEA emphasized the importance of such dialogues for enhancing bilateral cooperation and maintaining global security.
