Muzammil Shareef was previously detained for aiding them. Shazib, using the alias 'Mohammed Juned Sayed', was caught on CCTV carrying the bomb. Taha used fake Hindu documents. The explosion occurred after Shazib ordered food but left without eating. CCTV footage revealed him changing appearance post-blast.
