Gujarat University Asks Foreign Students to Leave Hostel Amid Namaz Controversy

In response to recent tensions surrounding the offering of namaz on campus, Gujarat University has requested seven foreign students, including six from Afghanistan and one from East Africa, to vacate their hostel rooms due to overstaying. The university's vice-chancellor, Neerja Gupta, clarified that these individuals had completed their studies and arrangements have been made for their safe return to their respective countries. This decision follows an attack on foreign students for offering namaz during Ramzan. The university has emphasized its commitment to the safety of all students amidst the ongoing controversy.
