India's External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, dismissed China's repeated claims over Arunachal Pradesh as "ludicrous", asserting the state's natural belonging to India. Speaking during his visit to Singapore, Jaishankar emphasized India's consistent stance on the issue, stating that Arunachal's status would be addressed in ongoing boundary discussions. China has persistently claimed Arunachal Pradesh as South Tibet, objecting to Indian leaders' visits to the region. India, in response, urged China to cease actions complicating the boundary question and maintain peace.
