Sukhdool Singh, alias Sukha Duneke of the Davinder Bambiha gang, has allegedly been killed in a clash between rival gangs in Canada, reportedly in Winnipeg. Duneke, who fled India in 2017 using false papers, faced seven criminal cases in Punjab. His death follows the June killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in a similar gang dispute in Surrey. Canada has become a refuge for over 29 Punjab gangsters evading the law, causing unease over their presence. Duneke's shooting demonstrates the threat of escalating gang violence among Indian fugitives in Canada.
