Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, chief of the banned Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), is at the top of security agencies’ radar after the recent deaths of three prominent pro-Khalistani terrorists. Pannun, facing 22 criminal cases in Punjab, is believed to be operating from Canada. Notably, Khalistani leader Paramjit Singh Panjwar, head of the Khalistan Commando Force, was killed in Lahore on May 6, while Avtar Singh Khanda, a Khalistan advocate, passed away from cancer in the UK on June 15. Hardeep Singh Nijjar, chief of the banned Khalistan Tiger Force, was shot dead in Surrey, British Columbia, on June 18. SFJ, founded by Pannun, has been linked to various extremist activities, including threats, attacks, and calls for referendums.
