Renowned director SS Rajamouli will produce a multilingual biopic titled "Made in India" on the iconic father of Indian cinema, Dadasaheb Phalke. To be directed by National Award winner Nitin Kakkar, the film will release in six languages including Rajamouli's native Telugu and cover Phalke's enormous contributions to pioneering Indian cinema. Rajamouli expressed his emotional connection to the project on the pioneer he considers the "guru of Indian cinema." Produced by Max Studios and Showing Business, the ambitious biopic marks a fitting tribute to Dadasaheb Phalke's legacy as India marks 100 years of its film industry.
