The Consulate General of India in Vancouver has condemned the assault of a 17-year-old Sikh student in British Columbia, Canada. The student was attacked with either "beer or pepper spray" by another teen after exiting a bus on September 11th. The Consulate requested prompt action against the perpetrators. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said there was an altercation on the bus before the assault at an intersection. Police have obtained witness statements and identified the teenage suspect. They are still collecting CCTV evidence to determine the motivation behind the crime.
