Jawan is smashing records left and right! Red Chillies triumphantly announced on Tuesday that the SRK blockbuster has grossed a mammoth ₹574.89 till now. The film is setting the box office on fire, becoming the first Hindi movie ever to cross ₹200 crores domestically in its opening weekend with ₹202.73 crores. Jawan's day one collection alone was an earth-shattering ₹88.2 crores, beating Pathaan's record set in January. Despite competing with a major India-Pakistan cricket match, the film has drawn diverse crowds thanks to its pan-India appeal, South Indian influences, and smash-hit performance in multiplexes as well single-screen cinemas.
