Actress Ameesha Patel congratulated Shah Rukh Khan on recreating the box office success of Gadar with his latest blockbuster Jawan. In a social media post, Patel praised Khan saying "Who better than you can do this magic." Her film Gadar 2 with Sunny Deol recently earned ₹500 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh predicted a ₹235-250 crore extended opening weekend for Jawan despite being a working Friday after a holiday release. Made on a budget of ₹150 crore, the pan-India Jawan marks Khan's return to cinemas after 4 years. Patel said Shah Rukh Khan was once again creating 'Gadar' at the box office.
