Cristina Balan, a former Tesla engineer, has won a key legal battle in her long fight against the company. She raised safety concerns in 2014 and later filed a defamation case after Tesla accused her of embezzlement. Her case was earlier dismissed due to arbitration rules. But now, a US appeals court has ruled in her favour, saying the lower court had no right to confirm that decision. Balan hopes this will let her start a new lawsuit and face Elon Musk in court.
