In a high-stakes counter-terror operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district, Indian security forces killed three Pakistani terrorists, including Jaish-e-Mohammed's top commander Saifullah. The joint operation involved the Indian Army’s elite Para units, CRPF, and J&K Police. The encounter took place in the dense Naidgam forests of Chatroo, where the heavily armed group had infiltrated, reportedly via the Hiranagar sector in Kathua. Each terrorist carried a ₹5 lakh bounty. Security forces recovered a large cache of arms and explosives, with further anti-terror operations underway to dismantle the remaining infiltration network in the region. (PTI)
