Five people were rushed to hospital after a shocking crash involving five police vehicles and a civilian car on the A1 northbound near Denton, Newcastle, UK, at around 2.30am on April 9. One unmarked police car flipped on its side, and four marked cars were heavily damaged. A civilian BMW was also involved. The crash caused major morning traffic delays, forcing authorities to shut the road between junctions 73 and 75.
