A Virgin Atlantic flight from London to Mumbai made an emergency landing at Turkey's Diyarbakır Airport after a passenger required urgent medical attention. The Airbus A350 encountered technical issues post-landing, leaving over 200 passengers stranded for nearly 40 hours without access to their luggage or adequate provisions. Restrictive visa regulations prevented them from leaving the military base. Diplomatic efforts eventually secured temporary visas, allowing some passengers to be accommodated in hotels. Virgin Atlantic apologized for the ordeal, emphasizing passenger safety as their priority. The flight resumed and arrived in Mumbai on the evening of April 4. (PC: NDTV & Business Standard)
