Recently a devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, resulting in over 1,700 fatalities and widespread destruction. India promptly launched 'Operation Brahma,' dispatching naval ships with 30 tonnes of relief materials and deploying an army field hospital with 118 medical personnel to assist the affected regions. The United States, China, and other nations have also extended aid, sending rescue teams, medical supplies, and financial assistance to support relief efforts. Despite these international contributions, ongoing civil conflict and infrastructural challenges in Myanmar continue to impede effective distribution of aid and rescue operations.
