Two Naval Ships on Way to Myanmar, Field Hospital to be Airlifted: Ministry of External Affairs on ‘Operation Brahma’

In response to the devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar and Thailand, India initiated 'Operation Brahma,' delivering 15 tonnes of relief materials to Yangon via an Indian Air Force C-130J aircraft. The aid includes tents, blankets, sleeping bags, food packets, hygiene kits, generators, and essential medicines. An 80-member National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team has also been deployed to assist in search and rescue operations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed solidarity with Myanmar, affirming India's commitment to support its neighbor during this crisis.
