Myanmar was hit by two powerful earthquakes of magnitudes 7.7 and 6.4, with the epicenter near Monywa. The tremors caused widespread destruction, including the collapse of Mandalay’s iconic Ava Bridge and a mosque, killing at least three people. A hospital declared a "mass casualty area" as buildings fell and roads cracked. Thailand also felt strong tremors, with four deaths and dozens trapped in a collapsed skyscraper.
