Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit India soon, marking his first trip since the Ukraine war began in 2022. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed that preparations are underway following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s invitation. The visit is expected to focus on the Ukraine conflict and global shifts after Donald Trump’s U.S. presidency. India, maintaining neutrality on Ukraine, continues strong defense and trade ties with Russia, especially in oil imports. Last year, Modi visited Moscow and Kyiv, strengthening diplomatic engagement. The two leaders aim to boost bilateral trade to $100 billion. (PC: India Today)
