Autopsies revealed that Hackman, 95, succumbed to heart disease complicated by advanced Alzheimer's disease, while Arakawa, 65, died from hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, a rare disease transmitted by rodents. The court's decision responds to a motion by Julia Peters, the estate's representative, emphasizing the family's right to privacy under the 14th Amendment.
