Bharti Airtel has partnered with Elon Musk’s SpaceX to introduce Starlink’s satellite internet services in India. The agreement, subject to government approval, will enable Starlink to utilize Airtel’s retail network for distribution. Starlink’s low Earth orbit satellite network promises high-speed, low-latency internet, potentially transforming connectivity in remote areas. With over 6,750 satellites in operation, Starlink offers speeds of 50-200 Mbps. Airtel's Vice Chairman Gopal Vittal called the collaboration a "significant milestone" in next-gen satellite connectivity. This deal follows PM Narendra Modi’s recent discussions with Musk on space and technology.
