Ed Sheeran addressed reports that his Bengaluru street performance was stopped due to a lack of permission. The British singer, who played on Church Street ahead of his concert, clarified on Instagram that the performance was pre-planned and authorized. A viral video showed police disconnecting his music gear as he performed "Shape of You" with fans. Sheeran assured fans that everything was fine and invited them to his concert. He has already performed in Hyderabad and Chennai and will head to Delhi NCR and Shillong next as part of his India tour.
