British band Coldplay made history with their Ahmedabad concert on Republic Day, attracting 1.34 lakh fans to the Narendra Modi Stadium. This marks the largest ticketed concert in India, surpassing events by Diljit Dosanjh and Justin Bieber, both of which drew crowds of 50,000. The Ahmedabad concert was part of Coldplay's "Music of the Spheres" World Tour, featuring five shows in India, including Mumbai. Celebrities like Shreya Ghoshal and Jasprit Bumrah attended the event. The massive turnout broke Coldplay's own record from Sydney, where 83,000 fans attended last year. The concert also streamed live on Disney+ Hotstar in India.
