India, China Agree to Resume Kailash Mansarovar Yatra and Direct Flights in 2025

India and China have agreed to resume the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra and direct flights between the two nations in 2025, marking 75 years of diplomatic relations. The decision was made during a meeting between Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. The Yatra, which had been suspended since 2020, will resume in the summer of 2025. Both nations also agreed to hold a meeting to discuss resuming hydrological data provision and enhancing bilateral cooperation. Additionally, efforts will be made to boost people-to-people exchanges, media interactions, and public diplomacy.
