Actor Saif Ali Khan has recounted the harrowing night he was stabbed while protecting his son Jeh from an intruder. In his statement to Bandra Police, Saif revealed, “I heard screams from Jeh’s room and rushed to see what was happening. That’s when I encountered the attacker.” Around 2:30 am, the intruder broke into the actor’s home. Despite being stabbed six times, Saif managed to trap the attacker in the room, allowing Jeh's nanny to escape with the child. The intruder, a Bangladeshi national, has been arrested. Saif, recovering from surgery, is now under police protection along with his family.
