On January 6, 2025, Gatwick Airport's train station in the UK was evacuated after a fire broke out under a train. The incident occurred around 12:30 pm when smoke was seen coming from the train’s undercarriage. Passengers reported hearing flashes and bangs, followed by urgent announcements to evacuate. Firefighters quickly responded and extinguished the small blaze, which was believed to have been caused by an electrical fault. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
